Amanda Towell known as Red by most people was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario. Growing up in the North has lead her to live a very active lifestyle she is an avid snowboarding, loves running outdoors, and camping and hiking in the great wide wilderness are her favorite.
Her passions include photographing people and the promotion of fitness and healthy lifestyles. She finds that people are very interesting and likes to capture the essence of them in her portraiture. She is interested in editorial, photojournalism, but focuses mainly on sports photography and her personal figure studies work. Just as she enjoys capturing their essence in a photograph for others to enjoy she finds satisfaction in helping people to find their own path leading them to a healthy and active life of their own to aid them in feeling and seeing their essence.
